On June 19th, the SCC Sponsored the opening of Graffiti and Grub. Youth from the southside side community worked, volunteered, and performed at the event, which brought together community members, youth and state representatives to celebrate the opening of this exciting new community-driven project on the Southwest side.The event included a meal of locally grown foods, an interactive game night, performances by the Stick and Move Bboy Crew, DJing by Zulu Nation, and spoken word and hip hop performances by Amina and other local artists.
